Lemon Lens ("the app") is a real-time voice monitor. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short, everything stays on your phone.
The app uses your phone's microphone only while you have pressed the record button, and only while the app is open on screen. It measures pitch, loudness, pace and pauses on the phone to draw the meter and graph. If "Save audio" is on, the recording and a short notes file are saved to Downloads/Lemon Lens on your phone.
Nothing. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not connect to the internet, and it never sends audio, text or any other data to us or to anyone else.
A recording leaves your phone only if you tap Share and choose where to send it, such as your email or cloud storage. That transfer is handled by the app you pick, under that app's privacy policy.
Delete files from Downloads/Lemon Lens with your phone's Files app. Your theme choice is kept in the app's storage and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Some places, including California, require everyone in a conversation to agree before it is recorded. The app asks you to confirm this before every recording. You are responsible for recording lawfully.
Lemon Lens shows how a voice changes compared with that same voice's normal. It is not a lie detector and does not judge whether anyone is telling the truth.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
